You can see how clear the water was in this image! The shadow of the feather shows the depth of the water, since the feather is floating on top of the water, and there's space between the shadow and the feather. You can also see clumps of bubbles floating along, and the reflections of light and shadow from surface ripples in the water...or at least, I hope you can see that!

This painting won a Purchase Award at the Mercer County Artists 2017 Juried Show, and will be on display at the Mercer County Administration building in Trenton (or one of the other Mercer County office buildings).
